Berts Cafe
Don’t miss Bert’s Café near Emerald Bay—a cozy, family-owned gem in South Lake Tahoe known for its world-famous hot cacao and scratch-made breakfast favorites. Expect a wait, but it’s always worth it.
What to order: the chilaquiles, corned beef hash with gravy, fluffy fresh biscuits, and of course, the hot cacao. You can’t go wrong with a Benedict, either.

Farmers To Your Table
Looking for fresh produce and local flavor this summer? The Meyers Mountain Market is back every Wednesday from June 4 through September 10, 2025, 3:00–7:30 PM at Tahoe Paradise Park (1011 E. San Bernardino Ave). Open rain or shine, the market’s mission is to support a healthy lifestyle and bring farm-fresh food straight to our community.
We’re also excited to share that the Ski Run Farmers Market will be happening every Friday from June 6 through September 12, 2025, from 3:00–8:00 PM on Ski Run Boulevard. Don’t miss the special Fourth of July market—plus 15 weeks of fresh food, local art, live music, and fun just minutes from home.
